The Rocky Mount Railroad Museum has participated in various events at the Golden East Mall during the Christmas Holidays, at city events and at the CSX Family Day, since its inception. Operational HO and O Gauge trains, train murals, lanterns, coal shovels, large scale trains, historical railroad information and other items were displayed at those functions. All of these items are located in our museum in the Helen P. Gay Rocky Mount Historic Train Station, 100 Coastline St. October 8^th and 15^th 2022 the museum opened to the public. The Rocky Mount Railroad Museum continues to move forward with the help of its members, corporate grants and dedicated financial supporters. The museum values its involvement with the community through this undertaking. The RMRRM TEAM is encouraged by community support through memberships and tax-deductible financial donations.
